Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and other skin irregularities. It offers patients many advantages over traditional resurfacing procedures such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion, as it practically eliminates side effects such as bleeding and bruising.
How does it work?
A laser beam of intense, precisely-focused light vaporizes the surface skin and reveals the undamaged layer beneath. Several different lasers can be used to achieve desired results, and our facility is equipped with some of the most advanced technology currently available. Juvéderm®
Juvederm Injectable Gel is a safe, effective gel that restores volume to the skin and smoothes away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm is the first FDA-approved dermal filler proven safe and effective for persons of color. The Juvederm gel is made of hyaluronic acid with a smooth consistency, allowing for easy injections and instant, natural-looking results. There is no pre-testing needed for this procedure.
Topical or injectable anesthesia may be used during this procedure to numb the treatment area and minimize any potential discomfort. The results of this procedure are available right away and can usually last for up to a year, the longest results available from any hyaluronic acid product.
Dysport®
Dysport is an FDA-approved injection treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles in the forehead. Similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport is injected directly into the site of wrinkles to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting. Dysport injections are made from the bacterium Clostridum botulinum, the same protein used in Botox injections.
Dysport was developed in Europe during the early 1990s, and has been used there successfully for several years. In April 2009, Dysport was approved by the FDA for use in the US, and is expected to rival Botox, the most popular cosmetic procedure, with its convenience and long-lasting results.
